Well the first thing that comes to my eye is the pose of the little critter and how it's bound into a composition - slightly offcentered - very good. The face is at a main viewpoint of the picture which also adds to the composition - I think composition is really perfect njoone could do it better.
Second one is the light - at first it seems a little underexposed but that turns into an advantage as it brings out the details in the fur very well - they might have been lost at a higher exposure. Also very good is that the light comes from the side - that brings out the structures in the fur gorgeously and it is responsible for the special mood in this picture.
The posing of the animal is great also - it really looks as if it would know that it's getting photographed and poses for it.
The DOF is also very good as it's so blurred that the subject really stands out. All in all a really awesome picture.
